Our Origin Story
As I raced full speed ahead toward my own military transition back in the summer of 2015 I had no clue what I was doing. I collected certifications and degrees like they were merit badges trying to simultaneously avoid a disastrous fit with my first employer while doing anything to maximize my potential salary - after all I had a two year old at home and a baby on the way with a due date within two weeks of my EAOS.

I built out my skills with LinkedIn, earned my PMP, and finished my MBA - but I still didn't know what my unique strengths were or what I really WANTED to do. With a few months to go, I called the JMO recruiters and started speed dating. I was lucky to land a role with a company that valued veteran talent and had a strong development program. Within a few months I began leaning into a veteran recruiting role in addition to my full time position in data science but I always felt like there had to be a better way...

I've interviewed hundreds of transitioning service members, reviewed thousands of resumes and I've seen what makes for a successful transition to a role that's a genuine "fit" (hint - its not the same for everyone!).
